Tar Paper
Tar paper is placed between the wood roof and metal/shingles. This provides an additional moisture barrier. We highly recommend this upgrade and build all of our inventory buildings with this option.
12” On-Center Floor Joists
Floor joists can be upgraded to 12” on center to increase allowable live load to 270 psf (pounds per square foot). All Better Built Sheds come standard with 2x6s 16” on center for the floor joists and have an allowable live load of 150psf.
3/4" LP ProStruct with SmartFinish
Flooring material can be upgraded to 3/4" LP ProStruct Tongue and Grove to increase allowable live load to 240 psf (pounds per square foot). All Better Built Sheds come standard with5/8" LP ProStruct Tongue and Grove with SmartFinish and have an allowable live load of 150psf.

All Better Built Sheds come standard with 5/8″ LP ProStruct Tongue and Grove with SmartFinish and 2x6s 16” on center for the floor joists, which has an allowable live load of 150psf.
